JobDocket is operated by 1001537887 Ontario Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
What We Collect
When you use JobDocket, we collect:
- Your email address (for authentication)
- Profile information you provide (business name, phone, hourly rate, HST number, payment instructions)
- Audio recordings you submit for transcription
- Job records, quotes, change orders, and invoices you create
- Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the JobDocket service:
- Transcribing and structuring your voice recordings into documents
- Generating PDFs for your job records, quotes, change orders, and invoices
- Auto-filling your business information on documents
- Processing your subscription payments
- Sending authentication emails
What We Never Do
- We never sell your data to anyone
- We never use your data for advertising
- We never share your data with other customers
- We never train AI models on your content
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate JobDocket:
- Supabase (Canada Central region) — database, authentication, and file storage
- Anthropic — document structuring and field extraction from transcripts
- OpenAI — audio transcription (Whisper)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each of these services processes your data only as needed to provide their function. We do not share more data than necessary with any provider.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our primary database is hosted in Canada (Supabase, Canada Central region). We use authenticated and permissioned access to all data stores.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access all your data through the app at any time
- Download your documents as PDFs
- Request a full export of your data by emailing us
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data

Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation to allow you to reactivate. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Children
JobDocket is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via email or through the app. Continued use of JobDocket after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
